E nella società?
Bertocchi: Leggendo i dati sembra che la piaga pedofilia sia veramente diffusa e impressionante. In un rapporto dell’OMS - Global Estimates of Health Consequences due to Violence Against Children (Ginevra, Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità, 2006) - si indica ad esempio che per il 2002 nel mondo si potevano stimare circa 150 milioni di bambine e 73 milioni di bambini minorenni costretti in diverse forme di abuso nell’ambito sessuale.
Un rapporto ONU, presentato all’Assemblea generale il 21 luglio 2009, focalizza, invece, l’attenzione sulla situazione nel web: su scala mondiale il numero di siti on-line di natura pedo-pornografica cresce a ritmi vertiginosi, ad esempio se nel 2001 erano 261.653, nel 2004 se ne recensivano ben 480.000, tendenza che viene confermata anche consultando Association's annual reports Meter Don Di Noto. Chi pensasse però che il problema è il celibato dei preti dovrebbe quantomeno spiegare come mai nel clero protestante, che può sposarsi, vi siano casi di abusi sessuali non inferiori a quelli del clero cattolico.

Perché la pedofilia organizzata e praticata con il turismo sessuale non fa rumore e non si riesce a fermare?
Bertocchi: Una indagine dell’ECPAT ha rilevato che nel mondo circa 80 milioni di turisti all’anno si muovano in cerca di un’offerta sessuale. Secondo Intervita – Onlus italiana – sarebbero 10 milioni i minori coinvolti in questo mercato planetario che muove un giro d’affari stimato in 12 miliardi di dollari.

Certo, questo atteggiamento non è compreso in Curia. Né dai “ratzingeriani” e giustamente, con affetto, Giuliano Ferrara ha scritto che sulla questione pedofilia, “detto con molta autoironia, per noi foglianti il Papa è un poco fuori linea”.

E’ vero. Perché il Papa sa più di noi e ritiene questo scandalo solo la punta dell’iceberg “terrificante” del peccato nella Chiesa (pensiamo ai verminai da lui denunciati nella Via crucis del 2005) e pensa al grande peccato dell’apostasia nella Chiesa.

E se tutto questo è “la città mezza in rovina” piena di cadaveri, descritta nella visione del Terzo segreto e se il papa ucciso non può essere il papa ferito del 1981, significa che la grande persecuzione del mondo e il grande martirio del Papa e della Chiesa è cosa del prossimo futuro.

Ho già dettagliatamente spiegato nel libro “Il quarto segreto di Fatima” (Rizzoli) che questa versione delle cose non convince oltretutto perché il Papa della visione cadeva a terra morto, mentre papa Wojtyla, grazie al cielo, non morì. Inoltre perché, nella visione, il martirio della Chiesa seguiva quello del Papa, non lo precedeva.
Per quel libro ho dovuto subire molti colpi bassi. Ora però è lo stesso Benedetto XVI che viene a dirci qualcosa di sorprendente, che riapre la discussione nella direzione che ho provato a indagare e che i documenti suggeriscono. Vediamo perché.
La domanda a cui il Papa ha scelto di rispondere (ne erano state fatte diverse e questa è stata scelta) diceva: “Santità, quale significato hanno oggi per noi le apparizioni di Fatima? Quando lei presentò il testo del Terzo segreto, nella sala stampa vaticana, nel giugno 2000, le fu chiesto se il messaggio poteva essere esteso, al di là dell’attentato a Giovanni Paolo II, anche alle altre sofferenze dei papi. È possibile secondo lei, inquadrare anche in quella visione le sofferenze della Chiesa di oggi per i peccati degli abusi sessuali sui minori?”.
Ecco la risposta di ieri di Benedetto XVI:
“Solo nel corso della storia possiamo vedere tutta la profondità, che era, diciamo, era vestita in questa visione possibile alle persone concrete. Infatti, dice esplicitamente Benedetto XVI, nella visione “sono indicate realtà del futuro della Chiesa che man mano si sviluppano e si mostrano”.

Evidentemente Giovanni Paolo II e il cardinale Ratzinger – che intendevano esaudire la richiesta della Madonna di rendere pubblico il messaggio, ma non volevano smentire pubblicamente i predecessori (pur constatando l’autenticità anche della seconda parte) – decisero di far conoscere attraverso quella Via Crucis al popolo cristiano tutto il messaggio della Madonna.
E’ assai significativo che questo pellegrinaggio a Fatima di Benedetto XVI avvenga oggi. Non si recò al santuario nel 2007, per l’anniversario delle apparizioni, quando sarebbe stato più ovvio.
Ma ci si reca oggi, a ridosso della tempesta scandalistica sulla pedofilia nella Chiesa e lo fa con tre intenzioni assai significative: pregare per la Chiesa, per i sacerdoti e per la pace nel mondo. Tre temi che tutti portano al terzo segreto.
